finance, communityI’m in the early stages of developing an idea for a community resource site.
The site will be a friendly place for people within the community to get information and ask questions.
Similar to StackExchange or Quora but very focused on a relatively small community.
There are forums already serving the community but there are issues with these. One of the biggest issues is that these forum seem to have their standards compromised by financial interests - advertisers.
I want to avoid this so I’m looking at alternative ways to make money with the site.
I’d love to hear some ideas about how to do this. I’d appreciate any feedback as I realise that without advertising this job will be difficult however it should be possible.

You can also implement some type of paid subscription, giving access to additional contents and/or advanced functionalities (on the content and/or the forum usability).
